How to Use the Calculator
Click + Add Item under “Your Offer” and “Their Offer” to search the value list and drop items into either side. The totals update instantly, and the stamp at the bottom tells you whether the trade favors you, favors them, or counts as fair. A trade is generally treated as fair when the two sides are within about 8% of each other — outside that range, one side is getting noticeably more value than the other.
How MM2 Trade Values Work
Murder Mystery 2 doesn’t have an official price list built into the game — item values are set by community consensus, based on how often an item trades, how many copies exist, and how much demand it currently has. Two items can have a similar in-game rarity tier but very different trade value if one is in higher demand.
- Ancient — the rarest tier, usually limited-availability or event-exclusive weapons. Typically the highest individual values on the list.
- Godly — the most actively traded tier. Values here move the most often as demand shifts.
- Vintage — older, discontinued items. Value often comes from age and scarcity rather than current demand.
- Chroma / Seasonal — limited-time event releases. Value can spike while the event is active and settle afterward.
Because demand shifts with game updates, new releases, and trading trends, treat every number on this page as a current estimate rather than a fixed price.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — in MM2 trading, a trade is generally still called fair if both sides land within roughly 8% of each other in total value. Exact equality is rare in practice since item values move in increments that don’t always divide evenly.
Values track community demand, not a fixed in-game price. New updates, limited-time events, content creator coverage, and shifts in how many players want a specific item can all push a value up or down within weeks.
Ancient is the rarer of the two tiers and tends to carry higher individual values, often tied to limited releases. Godly items are more common and trade more frequently, so their values are usually more sensitive to short-term demand swings.
Values are reviewed and adjusted periodically to reflect current community trading trends. Because trends can move faster than any list can track in real time, use the numbers here as a directional guide rather than a guaranteed price.
